PhD positions

Call for a series of PhD positions related to an ERC project:

1. - Cave clastic sediments as an archive of paleoenvironment information at the Neanderthal/AHM transition: a sedimentological and micromorphological approach to successions in the Mediterranean area;

2- Cave clastic sediments as an archive of paleoenvironment information at the Neanderthal/AHM transition: a sedimentological and micromorphological approach to successions in Eastern Europe;

3- Quantitative measurements of burnt and unburnt phytoliths and bone fragments in natural and cultural cave deposits as diachronic proxies for fire use intensity at the Neanderthal/AHM transition;

4- Siliceous microremains in cave sediments and cores: integration with sedimentary paleoclimate proxies at the Neanderthal/AHM transition.
